Wandersong es un videojuego indie de aventuras musical desarrollado por el diseñador estadounidense (actualmente residiendo en Vancouver, Canadá) Greg Lobanov que se lanzará a la venta este 27 de septiembre en la PC (Steam, Humble Bundle) y la consola Nintendo Switch.
La historia en este título es la siguiente: Hace muchos años, la diosa Eya puso en movimiento al universo con sus melodías. Pero ahora, como cada cierto tiempo, Eya cantará una nueva canción con lo que reiniciará toda la existencia. Por tal motivo, un trovador decide emprender un viaje con el que espera encontrar las piezas de una misteriosa melodía conocida como “Earthsong” con la que se dice se podrá preservar el planeta. Los jugadores deberemos de controlar al mencionado recitador y cantar en nuestra aventura para ayudar a otros personajes, resolver acertijos y salvar al mundo con el poder del canto.
Este videojuego, realizado principalmente con Gamemaker: Studio, comenzó a desarrollarse en octubre del 2015 y gracias a su exitosa campaña en Kickstarter en febrero del 2016 agregó al proyecto al diseñador de sonido Em Halberstadt (Night in the Woods) y al músico Gordon McGladdery (A Shell in the Pit).
A continuación les dejamos tres avances, el primero es el de anuncio, el segundo es el de las plataformas donde estará disponible y el tercero (el más reciente) es donde se anuncia su fecha de estreno. Después de estos tráilers encontrarán un reproductor con el que podrán escuchar el soundtrack (EP) publicado a finales del 2017. Esta banda sonora se titula Wandersong: Dreams & Wonder.
*Actualización (28/09/2018): Este juego salió a la venta el día de ayer, por lo que a continuación les dejamos el tráiler de lanzamiento y más abajo, después del EP, encontrarán tres reproductores con los que podrán escuchar el Volumen 1 y 2 del soundtrack oficial y un álbum de remixes.
