Trivium – Discografía (2003-2021)

Nota Original (20/10/2017):

El día de hoy, 20 de octubre, la banda de heavy metal Trivium publicó su octavo álbum de estudio, titulado The Sin and the Sentence. Para celebrarlo, más abajo podrán escuchar este disco y los otros siete álbumes anteriores, pero antes, comentemos sobre la trayectoria de esta agrupación para quienes no los conozcan.

Trivium (palabra en latin que significa “lugar donde tres caminos se juntan”) se formó en Orlando, Florida, en 1999. Los miembros actuales son Matt Heafy, Corey Beaulieu, Paolo Gregoletto y Alex Bent. En octubre del 2003 lanzaron su primer disco, Ember to Inferno (el líder, Heafy, tenía sólo 17 años cuando este álbum fue escrito/grabado). Continuaron dos años más tarde con Ascendancy, y en el 2006 publicaron The Crusade, disco con el que abandonaron el género musical del metalcore por un estilo principalmente trash metal. En el 2008 llegó Shogun, seguido de In Waves (2011), Vengeance Falls (2013) y el anterior al más reciente, Silence in the Snow (2015), en el que no se escuchan los gritos de Heafy, quien en ese tiempo tenía su voz lastimada (en el nuevo disco ya regresa con sus gritos).
