The Man Who Fell To Earth es una serie de televisión estadounidense del género de ciencia ficción desarrollada por Alex Kurtzman (Star Trek: Picard, Clarice) y Jenny Lumet, basada en la novela del mismo nombre del autor estadounidense Walter Tevis publicado originalmente en 1963.

Este show cuenta con las actuaciones de Chiwetel Ejiofor, Naomie Harris, Bill Nighy, Jimmi Simpson, Rob Delaney, Clarke Peters, Sonya Cassidy, Joana Ribeiro, Annelle Olayele, Kate Mulgrew y Josh Herdman.

Se estrenará al público general de su país de origen este 24 de abril. Aquí en América Latina podremos verla tres días después, el 27 de abril, a través de Paramount Plus.

La trama en este proyecto sigue a un ser extraterrestre (Ejiofor) quien arriba al planeta Tierra en un momento importante de la evolución de la humanidad y deberá confrontarse a su propio pasado para determinar nuestro futuro.

Esta no es la primera ves que se adapta el mencionado libro a un medio visual: en 1976 debutó una película británica homónima conocida en español como El hombre que cayó a la Tierra protagonizada por David Bowie y en 1987 se transmitió una cinta para televisión estelarizada por Lewis Smith y Wil Wheaton.
