The Chemical Brothers – Discografía (1995-2023)

El día de hoy se ha lanzado No Geography, el noveno disco de estudio del dúo de música electrónica The Chemical Brothers. Este nuevo álbum cuenta con 10 canciones, de las que ya se han desprendido cuatro sencillos, “Free Yourself”, “MAH”, “Got to Keep On” y “We’ve Got to Try”. Los seguidores de esta agrupación podrán escuchar esta nueva producción (así como todos los discos de estudio anteriores) en esta misma entrada, pero primero, repasemos rápidamente la trayectoria del grupo.

The Chemical Brothers (anteriormente conocidos como The Dust Brothers), formado por Tom Rowlands y Ed Simons, se originó en Manchester, Inglaterra, en 1989. Pasarían seis años más, para que en 1995, publicaran su primer álbum de estudio, Exit Planet Dust. Fue aclamado por la crítica y también fue un éxito de ventas.

A esta producción le siguió Dig Your Own Hole (1997) y con éste al fin el dúo llegó a la posición número uno de las listas de popularidad en el Reino Unido. En el tercer disco, Surrender (1999), la banda experimentó con diferentes estilos electrónicos y colaboró con distintos artistas, como Noel Gallagher de Oasis en la melodía “Let Forever Be”.

A principios de este siglo debutó Come with Us (2002). Los triunfos continuaron con Push the Button (2005) y We Are the Night (2007), ambos ganadores del Premio Grammy al mejor álbum de dance/electrónica. Los dos discos siguientes son Further (2010) y Born in the Echoes (2015).
