Nota Original (23/07/2016):
Otro de los grandes anuncios en este Comic-Con de San Diego 2016 fue Star Trek: Discovery, la nueva serie de televisión de la franquicia que ya se sabía que llegaría en el 2017 (enero para ser más precisos) transmitiéndose en Estados Unidos por CBS All Access. Se desconocía el título y para emoción de los fans se mostró un teaser que revela la nave que llevará los tripulantes de la serie por el espacio.
Discovery es creada por Bryan Fuller y Alex Kurtzman y es la primera serie de la saga en más de una década (Star Trek: Enterprise concluyó en el 2005). Los personajes que conoceremos aquí son nuevos y no estarán relacionados con las recientes películas de Star Trek. En cuanto a la historia sabemos que los protagonistas viajaran en la nave espacial USS Discovery (NCC-1031) en la que buscarán nuevos mundos y civilizaciones mientras exploran temas clásicos de la franquicia con un toque más contemporáneo.
Seguramente los fans de Viaje a las Estrellas esperan ansiosos esta nueva serie, pero por ahora podrán disfrutar de la nueva película Star Trek: Sin Límites (Star Trek Beyond) que se acaba de estrenar en Estados Unidos y aquí en México veremos hasta el próximo 2 de septiembre (pueden escuchar la banda sonora aquí). También en Estados Unidos este 9 de septiembre debuta el documental For the Love of Spock.
(17/10/2024): Completamos esta entrada agregando un nuevo reproductor a la sección de “Soundtracks” con el que podrán escuchar la recién publicada banda sonora de la temporada final.
*(17/05/2017): Al fin CBS se apiada de los fans y hace unos minutos mostró el primer tráiler completo de esta serie que se se retrasó y ahora se estrenará en este otoño y contará con 15 episodios (dos más de los que inicialmente se ordenaron). Se los dejamos a continuación en su versión con subtítulos en español.
*(22/07/2017): En el Comic-Con de San Diego 2017 se ha liberado un nuevo tráiler de esta serie que les dejamos en el siguiente reproductor, con subtítulos en español. La serie se estrenará en Netflix este 25 de septiembre.
*(15/12/2017): Al final de la entrada se encuentra un reproductor con el soundtrack oficial de esta serie compuesto por Jeff Russo.[
*(06/04/2018): La segunda banda sonora oficial de esta serie, que cubre el Capítulo 2 (Episodios del 10 al 15), se ha publicado el día de hoy. Quien guste escuchar esta álbum musical también compuesto por Russo lo podrá hacer en el reproductor que se encuentra más abajo, después del primer score.
*(08/10/2022): La tripulación del USS Discovery regresará próximamente con su quinta temporada. No se pierdan el primer teaser oficial con subtítulos en español latino de los nuevos episodios a continuación. Les recordamos también que, más abajo, en la sección de “Soundtracks”, podrán escuchar las bandas sonoras de las primeras cuatro temporadas.
(23/02/2024): Al fin, se ha publicado el tráiler completo y con subtítulos en español latino de la quinta y última temporada de esta serie que regresará este 4 de abril. Vean este avance aquí mismo.
