Almost Christmas es la nueva película de comedia y drama con temática navideña del escritor y director David E. Talbert y con las actuaciones de Kimberly Elise, Mo’Nique, Nicole Ari Parker, Gabrielle Union, Keri Hilson, Jessie Usher, Danny Glover, Rachel Kylian, Omar Epps, John Michael Higgins y Romany Malco. La cinta se estrenó al público en general de Estados Unidos hace dos días, el 11 de noviembre.
La historia aquí se centra en Walter (Glover), un ingeniero automotriz jubilado que perdió a su esposa (Kylian) hace un año. Ahora que la temporada de fiestas de diciembre han llegado, él invita a sus cuatro hijos (todos adultos) y al resto de la familia a que celebren las festividades de manera tradicional en su casa. Lo único que pide él como regalo es que sus hijos se lleven bien: si sus hijos, Rachel (Union), Cheryl (Elise), Christian (Malco) y Evan (Usher) logran pasar cinco días bajo el mismo techo sin matarse, será un verdadero milagro de Navidad.
