El día de hoy, 13 de julio, se publicó en Japón el soundtrack original de Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice (Gyakuten Saiban 6 en su país de origen), el nuevo juego de la franquicia que los japoneses han estado disfrutando en sus 3DS desde el pasado 9 de junio. En el Occidente esperamos este título de aventuras hasta septiembre.
Antes de escuchar la banda sonora, vamos hablando un poco del videojuego. Como saben, ésta es la sexta entrega de la saga principal en donde una vez más se enfoca al abogado defensor Phoenix Wright. También se encuentran sus suplentes, Apollo Justice y Athena Cykes, y su amiga medium Maya Fey. Parte de la trama es con Phoenix y Maya quienes viajan a una isla en donde los abogados son innecesarios ya que hay personas que pueden ver los últimos recuerdos de las víctimas antes de morir. Mientras tanto, Apollo y Athena se dedican a sus propios casos.
Regresando al soundtrack, este álbum incluye dos discos, más de 60 pistas y más de dos horas de música. Los temas fueron compuestos por Noriyuki Iwadare, quien ha trabajado en otros scores y discos especiales de la serie.
