El día de hoy Capcom anunció Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy, una compilación de los primeros tres videojuegos de novela visual de la franquicia Ace Attorney (conocida en Japón como Gyakuten Saiban) que saldrá a la venta a principios del 2019 en la PC y las consolas PlayStation 4, Xbox One y Nintendo Switch.
Aquí seguiremos al protagonista, Phoenix Wright, un abogado defensor que intenta que sus clientes sean declarados inocentes en la corte. Phoenix deberá no solo estar activo en el juzgado, sino también realizando investigaciones para encontrar evidencia que ayuden a la persona que está defendiendo.
Esta trilogía incluye los siguientes títulos, todos lanzados originalmente en el Game Boy Advance:
- Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (2001)
- Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney − Justice for All (2002)
- Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney − Trials and Tribulations (2004)
Gracias a su popularidad, la franquicia ha continuado en otras secuelas y spin-offs, el más reciente, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice (Gyakuten Saiban 6), se estrenó en el 2016. También la saga a sido adaptada en la pantalla chica en una serie de animación japonesa que debutó en el 2016 y que estrenará segunda temporada (basada en Trials and Tribulations) el próximo mes de octubre. También tuvo una película de imagen real en el 2012.
