Tomando en cuenta que el próximo fin de semana se estrenará en Estados Unidos la tercera película de la franquicia, vamos recordando las dos cintas de Notas Perfectas (Pitch Perfect) para después escuchar el soundtrack de las mismas.
La serie de filmes son del género de comedia musical y se basan en el libro Pitch Perfect: The Quest for Collegiate a Cappella Glory de Mickey Rapkin y son protagonizadas por Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Anna Camp, Brittany Snow, Skylar Astin, Adam DeVine, Ben Platt, Alexis Knapp, Hana Mae Lee, Ester Dean, Hailee Steinfeld, Chrissie Fit, Katey Sagal, John Michael Higgins y Elizabeth Banks (quien también tiene crédito como productora y de hecho dirigió la segunda entrega).
La historia general sigue a un grupo universitario de cantantes a capela femenino llamado “The Barden Bellas” y se centra en Beca (Kendrick), una aspirante a DJ sin interés en la vida colegial que se une a la mencionada banda inyectándole la energía que necesitaban para competir contra sus rivales masculinos en una competencia escolar.
El primer largometraje tuvo un éxito inesperado, recibiendo reseñas positivas y recaudando 115 millones de dólares en taquilla (de un presupuesto de 17 millones). Su secuela, Más Notas Perfectas (Pitch Perfect 2) llegó a la pantalla grande dos años después aún con mejores resultados monetarios (recaudó 287 millones de dólares con un presupuesto de 29 millones).
