Atlus ha confirmado que Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth, el juego de RPG que lanzaron en Japón a principios de agosto del año pasado, llegará al fin al occidente en algún momento de este otoño.
En este título, conocido en su país de origen como Sekaiju no Meikyuu V: Nagaki Shinwa no Hate, se cuenta la aventura de un nuevo héroe que intentará llegar a la cima del territorio desconocido del Yggdrasil Tree, ya que se dice que los valientes que lleguen a ese punto después de los peligros que acechan el lugar, se le concederá su más grande deseo.
Al inicio tendremos que crear nuestro grupo para explorar el laberinto de Yggdrasil Tree. Usaremos tácticas para derrotar a las bestias a las que nos enfrentemos así como deberemos de tomar las decisiones correctas en distintos escenarios para poder avanzar. Podremos usar el mapa para marcar las ubicaciones de tesoros, puertas, enemigos, bloques que obstruyen nuestro camino y más. En cuanto a la creación de personajes, podremos seleccionar de entre cuatro razas, diez distintos tipos de clase con la mayor cantidad de opciones de personalización de toda la franquicia.
El arte, al igual que en los juegos anteriores, corre a cargo del ilustrador japonés Yuji Himukai, mientras que en el apartado musical regresa también el compositor Yuzo Koshiro. Aquí les dejamos el tráiler de anuncio de la versión occidental de este juego y después el soundtrack del juego.
