Nota Original (09/09/2021):
Dexter fue una serie de televisión estadounidense del género de drama y crimen protagonizada por Michael C. Hall como Dexter Morgan y en un principio basada en la novela del 2004 Darkly Dreaming Dexter de Jeff Lindsay.
El show, que contó con 96 episodios distribuidos en ocho temporadas que se transmitieron entre el 2006 al 2013, siguen al protagonista quien lleva una doble vida.
Frente al público, él es un forense especializado en análisis de salpicaduras de sangre de la policía de Miami. Pero también es un vigilante asesino en serie que castiga a otros homicidas que no han sido debidamente sancionados por el sistema de justicia, ya sea por corrupción o por tecnicismos legales.
Dexter fue una serie popular y para el agrado de muchos, este año los fans volverán a este universo en Dexter: New Blood, una miniserie en la que Hall vuelve a interpretar al personaje titular que lo hizo famoso. La historia aquí toma lugar aproximadamente diez años del final del show original.
New Blood se estrenará este 7 de noviembre, en Estados Unidos a través de Showtime mientras que aquí en América Latina la podremos ver mediante Paramount Plus Latinoamérica.

*(26/07/2024): El día de hoy, dentro del Comic-Con de San Diego, se reveló el primer adelanto de Dexter: Pecado Original (Dexter: Original Sin), la nueva entrega de la saga que actúa como precuela y nos llevará a la ciudad de Miami en el año de 1991 en donde seguiremos a Dexter (interpretado por Patrick Gibson en pantalla mientras que Hall será su voz interior) en su transición de estudiante a asesino serial vengador. No se pierdan a continuación este teaser doblado en español latino a continuación.
