El día de hoy, 15 de junio, la cantautora Christina Aguilera ha publicado su octavo álbum de estudio, titulado Liberation. Los seguidores de esta también actriz podrán escucharlo en esta misma entrada, así como también los siete discos anteriores, pero primer vamos conociendo un poco de su trayectoria.
Aguilera comenzó a trabajar en televisión a temprana edad, apareciendo en The Mickey Mouse Club. Después de grabar el tema principal de la película animada de Disney, Mulan (1998), firmó un contrato con la disquera RCA Records. Sería en 1999 cuando se lanzara el primer álbum, Christina Aguilera, el cual fue un éxito gracias a los sencillos “Genie in a Bottle”, “What a Girl Wants” y “Come On Over Baby (All I Want Is You). En el siguiente año publicó dos discos, Mi Reflejo (una producción totalmente en español) y My Kind of Christmas (un álbum navideño). En el 2002 salió Stripped y cuatro años después Back to Basics, el cual recibió críticas positivas y debutó en la posición número uno del Billboard 200 estadounidense. El sexto disco, Bionic, se lanzó a la venta en el 2010 mientras que un par de años después el público recibió Lotus.
