Nota Original (17/07/2025):
Los actores Julia Roberts, Ayo Edebiri y Andrew Garfield estelarizan Cacería de Brujas (título original After The Hunt, también conocida en español como Caza de Brujas), una película de producción italiana y estadounidense del género de suspenso dirigida por el aclamado cineasta Luca Guadagnino (Queer, Desafiantes / Challengers, Hasta los huesos / Bones and All, Suspiria: El maligno, Llámame por tu Nombre / Call Me by Your Name) y escrita por Nora Garrett.
Esta cinta, en la que también actúan Michael Stuhlbarg, Chloë Sevigny y Lío Mehiel, se estrenará en salas de cine de los Estados Unidos este 10 de octubre, distribuida por Amazon MGM Studios, mientras que aquí en México Sony Pictures la proyectará primero en cines selectos un día antes, el 9 de octubre, para una semana después ampliarse al resto de la República Mexicana el 16 de octubre.
La trama aquí nos presenta a una profesora de la universidad quien se encuentra en una encrucijada tanto profesional como personal cuando una estudiante sobresaliente hace una seria acusación a uno de sus colegas y un oscuro secreto de su propio pasado amenaza con salir a la luz.
El día de hoy se publicó el primer tráiler oficial de este largometraje producido por Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Imagine Entertainment y Frenesy Film Company (esta última fundada por Guadagnino) que los interesados podrán ver desde el siguiente reproductor que incluye subtítulos en español latino.
