El día de hoy Ubisoft reveló oficialmente Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, la nueva entrega de la popular franquicia Assassin’s Creed que se lanzará a la venta a finales de este año en la PC, el PlayStation 4 y el Xbox One. Además, será un título de lanzamiento de las consolas de la siguiente generación, el PlayStation 5 y el Xbox Series X.
Valhalla, desarrollado por Ubisoft Montreal, toma lugar en el siglo IX y se centra en Eivor, un rudo guerrero vikingo que lidera a sus camaradas noruegos en batallas en contra del rey Aelfred y los cuatro reinos medievales anglosajones: Wessex, Northumbria, Estanglia y Mercia.

El sistema de combate en este videojuego ambientado en la brutal Edad Media de Inglaterra tiene algunas novedades comparado con sus antecesores, como la inclusión de una habilidad que nos permite blandir dos armas. En el apartado RPG, tendremos a nuestra disposición nuevas maneras para crecer como guerrero y lider. También existirá la posibilidad de crear y personalizar mercenarios vikingos que podremos compartir en línea, así como reclutar algunos creados por otros usuarios.
Desde luego, la revelación de Valhalla es acompañado por su tráiler oficial de anuncio, el cual podrán ver desde el siguiente reproductor (que incluye) subtítulos en españo, cortesía de Ubisoft Latinoamérica.

*(07/05/2020): A una semana de su revelación, se ha publicado el primer tráiler com gameplay de este título estrenado durante el episodio de mayo de Inside Xbox. Se los dejamos a continuación.
*(12/07/2020): En el evento Ubisoft Forward se reveló un nuevo vistazo al gameplay de cinco minutos de este juego que por fin ya tiene fecha de lanzamiento oficial. Será este 17 10 de noviembre cuando esté disponible en PC, PS4 y XB1 (en una fecha posterior se liberará en el PS5 y el XBX). *(17/07/2020): Actualizamos esta entrada con un nuevo tráiler de personaje, “El Destino de Eivor”, el cual incluye subtítulos en español latino.
