Korn – Discografía (1994-2022)

Nota Original (13/09/2019):

El día de hoy, 13 de septiembre, la banda estadounidense de nu metal Korn ha lanzado su álbum de estudio número trece. Titulado The Nothing, esta nueva producción de trece canciones ha sido ya promocionada con dos sencillos, “You’ll Never Find Me” y “Cold”. Para sus fans, más abajo en esta entrada podrán disfrutar de este nuevo disco, pero primero, repasemos velozmente la trayectoria del grupo.

Korn se formó en 1993. Sus miembros actuales son Jonathan Davis (voz principal), James Shaffer (guitarra rítmica), Reginald Arvizu (bajo), Brian Welch (guitarra principal) y Ray Luzier (batería).

El primer álbum de estudio de esta agrupación, KoЯn, se estrenaría en 1994, seguido por Life Is Peachy dos años después. Sería en 1998, con el debut de Follow the Leader, que la banda alcanzaría el éxito comercial mundial, llegando a ser el disco número uno en varias listas de popularidad, incluyendo el Billboard 200.

Korn cerró el siglo pasado con su bien aceptado disco Issues (1999). Entrando el nuevo milenio publicaron otro bien recibido álbum, Untouchables (2002). La agrupación siempre se ha mantenido muy activa, lanzando discos cada dos o tres años: las producciones siguientes fueron Take a Look in the Mirror (2003), See You on the Other Side (2005), Untitled album (2007), Korn III: Remember Who You Are (2010), The Path of Totality (2011), The Paradigm Shift (2013) y The Serenity of Suffering (2016).
