El día de hoy Netflix América Latina nos presenta el primer tráiler oficial con el doblaje en español latinoamericano de Hilda, la serie animada basada en los aclamados cómics británicos para niños del mismo nombre (también conocida como Hildafolk) escritos e ilustrados por Luke Pearson. Este show producido por Silvergate Media estrenará todos sus episodios en el mencionado servicio de televisión web este 21 de septiembre.
La historia en este proyecto toma lugar en un mundo fantástico parecido al nuestro en donde existen criaturas increíbles inspiradas principalmente en el folclore escandinavo. Aquí seguiremos a Hilda, una chica inteligente, optimista, curiosa y de espíritu aventurero que gusta de explorar el mundo a su alrededor con la mente abierta. Ella viajará desde su hogar en el campo, en donde está rodeada de vida mágica salvaje como duendes y gigantes, hasta la bulliciosa ciudad de Trolberg, donde conocerá nuevos amigos humanos y descubrirá misteriosos seres, más extraños y peligrosos de los que esperaba.
La primer historieta de Hilda se publicó en el 2010 (que sería relanzada en el 2013 como Hilda and the Troll, título en español Hilda y el Trol) y desde entonces ha publicado otros cuatro libros: Hilda and the Midnight Giant (2010), Hilda and the Bird Parade (2012), Hilda and the Black Hound (2014) e Hilda and the Stone Forest (2016), estos tres últimos fueron nominados al Premio Eisner.

(15/12/2023): La tercera y última temporada de esta serie debutó la semana pasada. El día de hoy se publicó la banda sonora de estos episodios finales compuesta por Ryan Carlson que los interesados podrán escuchar más abajo en la entrada, en la sección de “Soundtracks” que también incluye los álbumes musicales de las dos temporadas anteriores y la película Hilda y el rey de la montaña (Hilda and the Mountain King) que debutó en el 2021.
