Nota Original (03/11/2017):
El día de hoy, 3 de noviembre, la banda estadounidense de death metal Cannibal Corpse lanzó a la venta su álbum de estudio número catorce, titulado Red Before Black. Para sus seguidores, en esta misma entrada podrán escuchar el nuevo disco, así como las primeras trece producciones de estudio, pero antes, hablemos un poco de la trayectoria de la agrupación.
Cannibal Corpse se formó en diciembre de 1988, en Búfalo, Nueva York, con miembros antiguos miembros de otras bandas del mismo género musical. Son bien conocidos por las controversiales letras y arte de sus portadas que están fuertemente inspiradas en literatura y cine de terror (en algunos países se les ha prohibido tanto tocar como mostrar las cubiertas de los discos).
En 1990 publicaron su primer disco, Eaten Back to Life, y en los dos siguientes años debutaron la segunda y tercera producción, Butchered at Birth y Tomb of the Mutilated, con los que ya comenzaron tener realmente fans. En esa misma década estrenaron otros cuatro álbumes: The Bleeding (1994), Vile (1996), Gallery of Suicide (1998) y Bloodthirst (1999). Los siguientes discos fueron Gore Obsessed (2002), The Wretched Spawn (2004), Kill (2006), Evisceration Plague (2009), Torture (2012) y el anterior al nuevo,
A Skeletal Domain (2014).
