Gimme Danger (Documental sobre la banda The Stooges) – Soundtrack, Tráiler

El próximo 28 de octubre se estrenará en cines de Estados Unidos (de manera limitada) Gimme Danger, un documental dirigido por  Jim Jarmusch en donde se explora la historia de una de las bandas más famosas de rock-n-roll de todos los tiempos, The Stooges. La cinta tuvo su premier mundial durante el Festival de Cine de Dannes 2016 y desde entonces ha recibido críticas muy positivas

Este largometraje contará con entrevistas exclusivas con miembros de la agrupación, por supuesto, como Jim Osterberg, mejor conocido en el mundo como “Iggy Pop”. La banda, originaria de Ann Arbor (Michigan), estuvo activa desde 1967 (conocidos primero como “The Psychedelic Stooges”) hasta 1974, reuniéndose en el 2003. Fueron reconocidos por su poderoso y agresivo estilo musical en donde mezclaron varios géneros (rock, blues, R&B, jazz) y gracias a ello dieron las bases para lo que después se conocería como punk y rock alternativo.

El filme presentará las influencias musicales, culturales, políticas e históricas relacionadas con los Stooges, así como sus aventuras (y desventuras), las razones detrás de sus retos comerciales iniciales y su legado. Oficialmente la banda se desintegró el pasado mes de junio con comentarios de parte de James Williamson quien dijo que sería algo ridículo que sólo Iggy y él, básicamente los únicos miembros que aún viven, salieran de gira como Iggy and The Stooges cuando sólo hay un Stooge (él). *Actualización (14/01/2017): Para completar la entrada, bajo el tráiler encontrarán el soundtrack oficial de este documental y al final de la entrada está la lista de las canciones que suenan en la película.
